Jamie Kutch behoort tot de absolute cultwijnmakers van Californië. Zijn sublieme, terroirgedreven wijnen combineren de spanning en finesse van grote Bourgognes met de pure fruitexpressie waar Californische wijnen om bekendstaan. Ze zijn extreem gewild en in Nederland nauwelijks verkrijgbaar. Wij zijn dus enorm verheugd om deze wijnen met enige regelmaat en mondjesmaat te kunnen aanbieden. 

Kutch is een voormalig Wall Street trader en enorme wijnfanaat die zich binnen tien jaar vestigde als topproducent. Hij staat met name bekend om zijn magistrale, op Bourgogne geïnspireerde Pinots, maar ook zijn Chardonnays zijn onweerstaanbaar. Niet voor niets draagt hij de geuzennaam Kutch Dury (verwijzend naar het beroemde Meursault-domein).

Prachtwijn met een subtiele geur van rozenbottel, kers, bosaardbei, peper en laurier. De smaak is intens sappig en gelaagd met rood fruit, een levendige frisheid en rijpe, ragfijne tannines. Lange afdronk met indrukwekkende finesse. Heerlijk om solo van te genieten of bij verfijnde gerechten, zoals salade met eendenborst en frambozen of risotto met paddenstoelen.
